Xploro’s sleep module gives young patients an insight into what it’s like taking part in a sleep study. They have access to an interactive experience, a 3D model of a sleep clinic, additional staff members including a sleep physiologist, a game, and specialist chatbot responses.

Sleep clinic

The child’s avatar friend visits a typical sleep clinic, and they watch as Xploro introduces them to the process and equipment used for the study. They learn about monitoring equipment, what it feels like to have sensors attached to them, the team they will meet during their visit and what they will ask them to do.

Xploro helps reduce any apprehension the child might have by familiarizing them with the experience in advance and showing them they have nothing to worry about.
